I continue to hear this is the election that will change our lives, our children and grandchildren to years to come. We need to vote like our lives depend on it. I’ve not heard any religious leaders come forward and proclaim a word, offer a prayer or suggest scripture to help in such a time as this. Is America under judgement? One thing I know America has no leadership. I’ve listen to voters that like the idea of the ones in control believe in pro-live and they can keep the money they’ve worked for. I’m ok with that, I’m not ok with not doing all that need and can be done with the lives that are here. Do they not deserve the same rights as anyone else, do not the poor the heroes they refer to as essential worker deserve to keep they money they’ve worked hard for and put their lives on the line. Taxes are not fair and it is not fair America continues to bleed the least while promote the wealthy. I remember as child hearing ‘money is the root of all evil’ of course no one wants to be evil. Later in life I found out the Holy Scriptures says ‘the love of money is the root of all evil’. That leads me to ask the question why are the upper echelon so hell bent on not paying their fair share of taxes, yet they reap more benefits from the taxes that the same people they refuse to help.
As for pro-life, I have no right to tell anyone what to do, I do not know their circumstances. I do however, listen to parents when they are concerned about having ‘the talk’ with their child. How would you answer a hungry or sick child, “If you loved me so much why did you allow me to be born in such a cold hard world?” Question, to people of color why would you want to bring a life into a world that continues to look down on you and will in most circumstances judge you simply by your looks. There are those the feel they are entitled and those who are simply entitled because of who they are. Question if you could go to your closet each morning and put on a skin suit in any nationality, before getting dressed what skin suit would you choose? If you could choose a bank card the would provide you with the basic needs and a few daily desires or a bank card that provided all your daily desires, which one would you choose? When you walk out your door each day you have the choice ‘freewill’ to wear a mask or not to wear one, which do you choose?
I have the right not to wear a mask because I feel is is not necessary and your well being physically, mentally or emotionally is not my concern. I choose to be empathetic and wear one, I’m not sure just how true all the scientific information, but I choose to error on the side of caution. I do not want to look into the eyes of anyone that is hurt or sad and not have words or action to comfort them. I continue to optimistic and will vote my conscious.
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another, as I have loved you, that he also love one another.
No one has all the characteristics of the Most High but I want to treat all people as if they were a neighbor or member of my family. I do not want or expect anyone to do for me what I would not do for myself. Why as a country, a nation that supposedly offer everyone the right to the pursuit of happiness continue to squander their chance to do what is right. Democracy continues to be a national experiment why?
