          [Edition 1, Volume 1]

Next month the shortest month of the year is dedicated as Black History Month. A month to honor the triumphs and struggles of “African Americans” depicted  in the history of the United States. This history embraces the righteous Civil War, the on going civil rights movement and their artistic, cultural and political achievements.  Why are a people that have no historical foundation so crucial to America, and the  world?

One would think the owner of a semi-educated slave would be of more value more profitable. Why was it imperative to take their name, traditions and destroy the foundation of who they were? Why was it so important to force Christianity on them? Why was it so important to treat them less than human, destroy their self-esteem, break their spirit, refuse to allow them to seek or call on their God? Everything good and positive was taken. The men was treated like scum. However it nothing for the supposedly superior man to lay with the female counterpart.  If the man was considered a low life, then the one who bore him was a low life. A low life from a low life equals a low life. A great lie had been perpetuated. The truth will be revealed but not embraced by all.  There are reasons the identity of these people was taken, it is not just politics it’s spiritual.

Everything was done and is being done to prevent them from seeking their history their GOD. When they unite and call on their God there will be a movement this world is not prepared to encounter. The wrongs will be made right.

Context is circumstances that form the setting for an event, statement, or idea, and in terms of which it can be fully understood and accessed.  The parts of something written or spoken that immediately precede and follow a word or passage and clarify its meaning. Dictionary.com

 The destruction or loss of anyone’s past will not only affect that person but it will affect that person’s family for generations to come. It’s like a ripple affect it spreads. The family that is affected will affect the extended families and friends and their family and friends so on and on.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It has been approximately 400 years since the greatest country was introduced to slavery. Slaves have existed for ages. The treatment of slaved brought to the New World were different many were peculiar. Their history had to be altered, the treatment and the destruction of the family unit hand to be infallible. The treatment they encounter in the United States is incomprehensible. The truth is being revealed yet hindered.
Keeping ones dark secrets and deeds does not make them go away. Let’s look a the true meaning of making amends. The Civil War ended almost 155 years ago and moral conflict remains in America. These great people never asked for a handout, they only asked for an equal chance.  Their God-given talents have been exploited, their kindness taken for weakness, their style imitated, the moral foundation of family compromised and their religious beliefs and history manipulated. Yet, now one wants to tell why.
According to Holy Scripture, “He that covereth his sins not prosper; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13 KJV
My name means ‘truth’ ‘faith’, however my spirit is an epitome of valor and virtue. I have always felt if I am the least in my world. That is why each day I strive to place my trust in The Most High God. I pray He see me as one who will fight like Joshua, as one who hides like Gideon, but most of all transform and strengthen me to be like the woman in Proverbs 31. My soul desire is to be an ‘Outstanding Woman’ a ‘Virtuous Woman’.
