During this pandemic I have not heard a hearty discussion of the conflict between science and religion.

A lot of evil deeds are done in the name of religion. The New World government promised all citizens the right to practice their religion. If this was true, how were the burning of witches justified.

Is religion the belief in the existence of a god or gods? Familiar systems of faith that are based on the belief in the existence of a particular god or gods, or in the teachings of a spiritual leader. Oxford Dictionaries define religion as the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.

The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. The World of Science and technology.

Spiritual definition-relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to to material or physical things. Religion is a specific set of organized beliefs and practices. Usually shared by a community or group. Spirituality is more of an individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose. It also relates to the process of developing beliefs around the meaning of life and connection with others. You can be ‘spiritual’ without being ‘religious.’

There are many world views, we all were granted free will. Many non religious people believe in God. They belief in a higher being but, have never been in a religious commitment.
