Welcome to A Lion’s Pen. Lion’s Pen is about my journey into the world of ideological beliefs that has not shaped and can not define me. I refuse to conform to the ways of this world. I cannot conform to the ways of this world and now I think I may know why.
My name given at birth means ‘truth’ ‘faith’, however my spirit is an epitome of valor and virtue. I have always felt if I am the least in my world. That is why each day I strive to place my trust in The Most High God. I pray He see me as one who will fight like Joshua, embrace my hiding in the shadows and become like Gideon. One of my prayers is to transform and strengthen myself to be like the woman in Proverbs.
Many think faith is a strategy for people who cannot think for themselves. The fool believes everything, Solomon writes, “the wise man understands”. I cannot base my faith or beliefs on reasoning, but I believe my faith and beliefs are enhanced thr am ough study, experience and reason. Therefore, my spirit becomes an epitome of valor and virtue. th
The reason I desire is to be A Virtuous Woman is because – She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over and takes care of her family. She is filled with faith, hope and love. She does not eat the bread of idleness….Proverbs 31
On this journey I hope to acknowledge and embrace Biblical truths. Exploring religion, science and learn from some challenging issues past and present.
This is a place where I share my thoughts on religion, science, spiritual and world-concepts. The law states that everyone has the right to practice their own religion.
Favor is deceitful and beauty vain, but a woman that feareth the Lord, shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30 KJV
I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a grandmother, a friend, a Freelance Writer in search of the Truth. Most of all I am a BELIEVER. I am ME.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is –his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
